What You Can Do To Help

The Fund is run by unpaid volunteers and is supported by local governments and other charitable organizations. As a result, we have very low overhead costs. We guarantee that your donation will go to assist those in need!

Your contributions will help! Our community has some serious and on-going needs that you can help address.

Here are some of the things that your financial assistance will help provide:
•  Food, UTA/TRAX tokens, and other necessities for people in crisis
•  Assistance with emergency shelter
•  Clothing for a rape victim
•  Clean-up costs relating to suicides and homicides
•  Replacement of locks and/or windows for homes of victims
•  Medical costs
•  Crisis and psychological counseling costs

Your gift will also help to prevent homelessness. One traumatic event can have unexpected costs relating to it. If someone is financially unprepared for an unexpected traumatic event, it can trigger a downward spiral effect for a victim. We would like to prevent this detrimental snow-ball effect and help a victim avoid getting into debt (or causing more of it). By donating to the Fund, you will lessen the level of suffering and/or prevent it from getting worse.

We believe that by improving direct services to crime victims, victims will be more cooperative with the criminal justice process.

Every bit of money donated makes a huge difference!
